To start my project I needed to be able to see what I am building towards. So I purchased an inexpensive prototype DIY kit of a mars landing rover to use as a physical model and inspiration.

Why keeping a personal scientific journal is vital!
Keeping a personal academic journal is important because it helps develop study habits, time management skills and can be used as reference material later on in one's academic journey.
An academic journal can be very helpful in research later down the line for reference material that you may have forgotten or just need a refresher.
